We took some taxis that had at least five extra people squeezed in and drove a couple of hours south of Zagora to the Sahara desert where we then rode on camels for some more hours to our campsite.  I blasted Black Sabbath on my mini speakers to try to distract myself from how painful it is to ride a camel and it worked somewhat well.  You get to a point where you can see nothing but desert in every direction which was pretty blissful.  We slept under a million shooting stars and ran around the dunes half naked during sunrise.  In the morning Adi's stomach virus came back and halfway through the camel ride back to the road she had to get rescued by Mohammed on a little rescue quad.  The whole experience was pretty surreal.
